Jareds adventures...5/8/08

Today Big Bird went to Riverton. On a very windy and rainy day. The waves were very very big. Then we went to the very very big paua shell. The waves went right over top of the biggest rock and even some of the little rocks. We put Big Bird in a towel and wrapped it around Big Bird very tightly. Then we found a hole. The sand was covered up with stones and some rocks were covered with mussels. Then we found hundreds of pauas and hundreds of mussels. Then we went to the Lonestar. Then we went to bed and it was eight o'clock.

Big Bird is the latest addition to the room 2 family here at Salford School. He is going to be going on a few adventures in the next few weeks, with the students from the class! The students are going to take Big Bird with them on their journeys during the week and in weekends, and take photos of their time. The students will also write about what they have been up to in a notebook and then post it here on our blog. Watch this space...
